“Consistency is so important for young kids and my son thrives on the routine that the Y has allowed us to maintain.”
“As an essential hospital worker I was suddenly forced to figure out child care when the schools closed back in March. As a single parent working full-time, my first concerns were obviously the health and safety of my son, and then where he would go while I had to work. He has been at the YMCA ever since. Through the shutdown, YMCA Summer Camp, and now during the virtual learning era, he has made many friends along the way and has grown attached to certain members of the staff. You all have been great in communicating everything that’s available for us, and have gone above and beyond in making sure we have the resources that we need to keep life as normal as possible during the chaos that this year has brought. Consistency is so important for young kids and my son thrives on the routine that the Y has allowed us to maintain. Thank you for all that you do – you are true angels!”
