"We didn't realize there was so much the Y offered: Swimming, all kinds of classes, weights, cardio machines, we love the indoor track too! My favorite part of going to the Y has been the aqua fit classes with my mom! We decided to get out of our comfort zone and try one class.
After that one class we were hooked. My mom now picks me up on her way to the gym 3-4 times a week for swim classes. Spending this quality time with her has been the best and something I will treasure. Not only are we getting a great physical work out, but its also great for our mental health.
We have met so many great people from swimming. We actually started going out for coffee on Sundays with some of the regulars.
I fully recommend the YMCA! They have a great caring staff. Its definitely a no judgement zone. I feel comfortable & supported in this journey - - I've lost 15 lbs since joining! "
